Secret #2: The Massive Confusion Dominating The Fat Loss & Fitness Industry Today

More than ever, people are confused about burning fat and weight loss. I don't blame them. There are mixed messages being sent out about what works and what doesn't. Some people just figure hard work must equal results so they slave away in gyms daily doing resistance training, aerobics and run on the treadmill. They are probably also trying one of the latest diet strategies that promises miracle fat burning and weight loss and using the scale to measure their progress.

After all, this is the kind of stuff we are told about by most of the popular diet and fitness gurus to burn fat.  But with so many different strategies and plans being pushed as the be all and end all, what happens is we tend to lose sight of what really matters in achieving lifelong fat burning, fitness and health…I'm talking about the principles that most people don’t know about or have forgotten. A small minority use them to achieve lifelong health and fitness.  These are the same principles that Rob Poulos (fat loss expert & creator of the Fat Burning Furnace system) used to drop over 40 pounds of unwanted body fat, keep it off, and revitalize his life!

With most other diet or exercise programs people are conditioned to adopt a temporary mindset of losing fat. They're focused on this one short term specific goal. So they may do things that will enable them to see instant results, things which aren't sustainable to keep the fat off in the long term.

This is one of the biggest reasons for the lack of fat loss and fitness progress that is being experienced by many exercisers and dieters around the world.  These people are jumping from one fad to another while losing sight of what really works for the long term bigger picture. They are exercising far too much, doing the wrong kind or intensity of exercise and trying to adhere to unrealistic diets. Instead we should focus on a long term plan or lifestyle and forget about “losing 15 pounds by summer”.

The right things to do include brief, progressive, and intense resistance training, eating a diet full of nutrient rich foods, drinking tons of water, and getting plenty of quality sleep and rest.  The students of Rob's Fat Burning Furnace method understand this and are reaping the life long health and fitness rewards because of it.  Are you?

Secret #1: Why Changing Your Mindset Will Improve Your Fat Burning

Most people think short term. They only want to "get in shape and burn fat", but rarely do you hear them say "I want to get in shape, burn fat and keep it off!". The former thinking is subconsciously counterproductive because it only focuses on the "getting in shape" part which makes one more susceptible to being sucked into quick fix weight loss schemes or fad diets that simply don't work. It's a short term goal.

You need to focus on long term weight loss success so that any action you take now will have the end goal in mind. Plus, you will tend to take action that is sustainable in the long term. This means you are less likely to be swayed by infomercials and more likely to do what's best for your body in the long run. Wouldn't you agree that "burning the fat" is simply a short term view compared with "keeping it off"?

Seeing a fit older person, to me, is more impressive than seeing someone who is lean and fit when they are younger because to achieve this feat, it requires dedication in terms of exercise and nutrition.

If you really want to transform your shape and health permanently, you need to make it a habit - make it part of your lifestyle. This begins with your mindset. With each action successful people take, they subconsciously assess whether it will have a positive or negative impact on their long term health.

The good news is that research shows you can develop simple habits like those involved in eating and exercising properly in under a month…sometimes even sooner.  The exercise and diet tips recommended in the "Fat Burning Furnace" course is ideal to help you start on the right path. It dispells the idea that you have to be on a wacky diet or that you have to work out every day. After a few months, going back to the old you will simply not feel right, so you continue on your path of success. How come? Well because your body naturally wants to be lean and healthy!

So I encourage you to get into the right mindset. Think about the long term end goal and keep it in mind. Imagine having the body of your dreams today, tomorrow and in 10 or 20 years time. You won't be trying to "get in shape", you'll be enjoying life while staying on the path of burning fat 24/7 with minimum effort.
